About Marta

I love to move, I enjoy coloring the space within and around me with conscious harmonious movement, transforming the physical movement into a colorful flow of life forces.

My aim is to inspire people, to guide them to experience oneness, connection with each other, tuning into their highest selves, their spirit guides, angels. To connect with their seeds of light and love within so that they can nourish them into blossoming. When many souls blossom into light, love, life, then the peace can prevail on Earth.

Through words and images of Soulful Sparks of Inspiration, I soften the soil of people’s hearts. Through eurythmy, I water the seeds to grow into oneness. I am a wizardess in the art of harmonious movement, of eurythmy as a life sustaining and nourishing movement.

Moving in a group circle helps people feel the space around, between, among them, and experience the fascinating unity of a circle within circles. Harmonious movement of human souls gently and slowly opens people to the idea of enhancing our human lives through cultivating spaces between and among us to be able to raise ourselves to the next level of peaceful coexistence. While other meditation practices and movement arts come close, eurythmy provides the missing ingredient: Being in harmony with each other as mature human beings, practicing the balance between center (myself) and periphery (others) in harmony and freedom.

Soulful Wizardess Marta Stemberger, MA, is a eurythmist, graduated from Eurythmy Spring Valley in Chestnut Ridge, New York, with an artistic eurythmy diploma in May 2014. Her background is in modern dance. She holds a Certificate of Dance from Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, NYC, has studied at Martha Graham Dance Center, NYC, and with Bessie Schonberg, NYC. Marta has taught movement, performed, and lectured in her native Slovenia, Europe, and the U.S. since 1989. She actively performed eurythmy throughout her training (2008-2014), culminating in North-East and European tours. In Summer 2014, she was the stage manager for the four-day long series of Rudolf Steiner’s mystery dramas in Chestnut Ridge, NY, while performing three acting and two eurythmy roles. During the summer of 2017, she gave a talk about eurythmy in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a public eurythmy session in Novo mesto, Slovenia. She taught public eurythmy courses for adults in NYC, 2016-2020, and eurythmy for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades as part of Homeschool Enrichment Program at ASNYC (October 2019 – February 2020). Since autumn 2019, she has been involved with the Festival Ad Hoc eurythmy group at the Threefold Community, Chestnut Ridge, NY. Currently, she works on new eurythmy solos.

As a spiritual researcher, Marta developed a unique reading Dynamic Name™ Mandala, Astrology in Your Name, based on the insights from eurythmy. She writes two blogs: weekly Soulful Sparks of Inspiration, and bi-weekly Eurythmy Musings. She published Soulful Sparks Calendar 2016, 2017, 2018, and more to come…

Marta earned her BA in Liberal Arts and MA in Liberal Studies, both at The New School, with a focus on women studies through the lens of history and sociology. She was a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate courses in women’s intellectual history at The New School. As a linguist, Ms. Stemberger has been offering language services since 1998 through her company Arinna, Inc.
